My son is 6 years old and has autism.
Most of the world doesn't accommodate him. Restaurants are hard. School is hard. Public spaces are hard. Every single day requires more energy, more planning, and more patience than most people will ever understand.
But the dunes? The dunes are different.
Out there he's free. Strapped into a seat belt, sand between his fingers, wind in his face — he's just a kid having the time of his life. No stares. No judgment. No one telling us he's too loud or too much. Just open desert and the sound of engines and my son smiling in a way that fills my whole chest.
That feeling is what started HydeYourRide. I had to build something that worked because nothing else was an option. This business exists because of him.
On December 5th, 2026 we're giving that feeling to every family who needs it.
— Sam, founder of HydeYourRide / Rampage Offroad, and dad first.
Nothing is mandatory. Show up when you can, stay as long as works for your family, and leave when you need to — because we all know how fast the day can change.
